ReconfigNet-Sim

About this blog

Notes on the systems around reconfigurable optical networks.

ReconfigNet-Sim is programmable-switch research infrastructure for investigating the system-integration, control, and deployment problems surrounding reconfigurable optical networks.

This blog shares research notes and engineering lessons from building that infrastructure. We write for researchers working on reconfigurable networks, and publish each article in English and Chinese.

Our experiments have an explicit boundary: packet-switch emulation helps us study the surrounding system. Optical behavior requires validation with physical optical hardware.

Explore the project on GitHub, read the simulation boundaries, or use project issues to discuss the work.
